Fayetteville KOA Winter Wonderland

It snowed on Tuesday, January 20, 2009, 4 inches. All the schools were closed, even Fort Bragg was closed! The kids were out of school and had a great time building snowmen, sledding, and making snow angels. The last time they had snow here was four years ago.

Hi Betty,
Glad to hear we Michiganders aren't the only ones having winter! Lucky for you, yours won't last long! We have had plenty of snow and cold!!! We are planning on going to Ft. Wayne the end of the month and then on to Florida for the month of March. I twisted my knee on December 29 and have a torn meniscus and strained ACL. I hope it will get better with time, but it's not looking too good! I need to get fixed up so Larry can schedule his knee replacement! Thanks for sending us your blog!

Hey y'all,
Looks fun there. We haven't had much of anything. Just an inch to three here and there. Schools have closed or delayed more for the low temps than for snow. I hope y'all have a great winter. Are you heading back this way over the summer? I'd love to see you guys.
Tell your cousin congrats! on her first grandbaby. What a special moment! Have fun living the dream!

We will be in two parks; one near Colorado Springs, called Eleven Mile State Park, the other is near Grand Junction, called Highline Lake State Park. Looks to be a full summer.
